Inreach is similar to Outreach, but with the focus on our church family. These are the groups who minister to our current and new members.
Communications Communications produces the bi-monthly Salty Saint newsletter and the Fishnet (weekly news), maintains the monthly calendar & birthday list, publicity, signage & kiosk, and produces special publications.
Food Groups At St. Thomas, Food Groups are in charge of providing refreshments and decorations at special events and celebrations and they provide meals for funerals.
Lay Eucharistic Visitor Lay Eucharistic Visitors call on those who are homebound or hospitalized and administer communion to them, thus linking them to the worship of the parish.
Prayer Shawl Ministry Compassion and the love of knitting/crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice which reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace, as well as in celebration and joy. Many blessings are prayed into every stitch.
Support Team The Support Team assists members in times of illness and bereavement in many ways, including prayer, greeting cards, prayer shawls, flowers, home visits, and meals.
Welcoming Newcomers Every member has a role in welcoming visitors to our congregation, but members of the welcoming committee ensure that newcomers feel welcome before and after the service at coffee hour.
